When a full truck is more capacity than the freight needs.

DFS helps compare LTL and partial options for smaller commercial shipments where pallet count, weight, handling requirements and timing determine whether shared capacity makes sense.

HOW THIS SERVICE WORKS

Simple on the site. Detailed where it matters.

Consolidation changes the math

Partial and LTL freight can reduce transportation cost, but the tradeoff is less direct control over transit and handling. The right option depends on freight class factors, pallet footprint, total weight, urgency and pickup/delivery access.

Not every partial should be LTL

Some shipments are better served by a dedicated box truck, cargo van or full truck even when the freight is physically small. DFS uses the shipment profile and lane to compare the practical options before the shipper commits.

Start with the actual freight

Enter the lane, pallet count and weight in the DFS quote engine. Then build the detailed request with dimensions, facilities and accessorial needs so the recommended service can be reviewed against live conditions.

COMMON FIT

Built around commercial freight requirements.

DFS reviews the actual shipment before service is confirmed. These are common operating profiles—not a guarantee that every shipment will fit the same equipment or rate structure.
