Facility recovery freight built around the handoff.

Port, CFS and airport-related freight can become expensive when the handoff is not planned correctly. DFS captures facility, availability, timing and delivery requirements before coordinating the move.

HOW THIS SERVICE WORKS

Simple on the site. Detailed where it matters.

The facility is part of the shipment

CFS, airport and port-adjacent facilities may have cutoff times, release requirements, appointment rules and waiting exposure. The transportation plan needs to reflect those constraints before a truck is dispatched.

From recovery to final delivery

DFS can coordinate the transportation side from the recovery point to a warehouse, distribution center or other commercial delivery location, subject to release status, access and live carrier capacity.

Quote with the actual handoff in mind

Use Port/CFS mode in the DFS quote engine, then provide the facility name, pickup reference, timing, freight details and delivery requirements for review.

COMMON FIT

Built around commercial freight requirements.

DFS reviews the actual shipment before service is confirmed. These are common operating profiles—not a guarantee that every shipment will fit the same equipment or rate structure.

✓LAX-area cargo recovery
✓CFS and warehouse pickups
✓Los Angeles / Long Beach port-adjacent moves
✓Commercial final-mile delivery
✓Appointment and cutoff review
✓Dry van, box truck and specialized fit review
PLANNING NOTE

DFS does not perform customs brokerage, cargo release or terminal services. Transportation coordination begins after required release and access conditions are satisfied.
